K&E Global on Cime de la BonetteLatest Report

We are pleased to report that we completed our 2008 summer cycling challenge on July 10th.

The challenge we set upon ourselves was to cycle from Geneva, Switzerland to Menton, France and back. Our journey took a total of 17 days (15 cycling days + 2 rest days).

We followed most of the Route des Grandes Alpes on the way down and customized our own way back up.

Coppi and Bobet Monument at Casse Desérte Sign of Didi the Devil - leftover from a past Tour de France on Galibier Thomas Dekker as written on the road up to Col du Galibier

We saw many historical sites and monuments in addition to past Tour de France writings on the road. We made our own temporary marks on Col de l'Iseran and Cime de la Bonette.

Now that we're back, we will start to think about where to cycle to next. In the meantime, you may read about our journey here.
